2012-01-27 Americas Cardroom Holding $75,000 Guaranteed This Weekend
Last month, Americas Cardroom held their largest online poker tournament ever, a $50k guaranteed No Limit Hold'em event. This weekend, they are upping the ante with a $75,000 guaranteed tournament to be held this Sunday at 6 PM ET.
Players can enter this tournament directly for $109 or qualify via satellites that start at $4+0.40. It should be noted that players that enter this tournament will also earn 1,000 Points towards the $65,000 Points Race.
The U.S. facing room is seeing large growth over the last year, and as a result tournament guarantees and promotions are increasing. 2012-01-27 Carbon Poker Introduces $25,000 Bankroll Booster Freerolls
On February 26th, Carbon Poker will be running one of their largest freerolls in a recent memory, a $25,000 freeroll that players must qualify via freeroll or the earning of VIP Points. The action gets underway this Sunday so take a look at participating in this no-cost way to increase your Carbon Poker bankroll.
$25,000 Qualifier Freeroll
The $25,000 qualifiers, which are held daily at 1:30 PM, 5:30 PM and 9:30 PM ET, will award 10 entries to the $25,000 final per tournament. The tournament will be held in the Turbo format and will start all players off with 1,000 in starting chips with 5 minute blinds.
$25,000 Qualifier VIP POINTS Earned
You can also qualify for the $25,000 freeroll on February 26th by earning VIP Points. Simply earn VIP Points during the day and qualify for a VIP Points Earned freeroll the next day. 2012-01-24 Party/WPT Poker Players: $3,000 New Player Freeroll Makeup
Last Sunday, some players had issues registering for the $3,000 New Player Freeroll at Party Poker and WPT Poker. As a result, Party Poker/WPT Poker have added a $3,000 Makeup Freeroll this Saturday for all players that qualified for the January 22nd tournament, regardless of whether they could play or not.
You should be receiving a email notification from Party Poker informing you or what is happening. The makeup freeroll will be available in the lobby this Thursday, at which time players may register manually.

2012-01-23 PokerHeaven Introduces Micro Bad Beat Jackpot Tables
If you are a micro limit player and like the idea of playing large Bad Beat Jackpot prizes offered at many online rooms, you won't have many options. Most jackpots are open, at a minimum, to players that play 0.50/1.00 or higher, a stake level too high for some new players. With the introduction of the Poker Heaven Micro Bad Beat Jackpot tables, players at the micro-stakes can now get on the action as well.
The Micro Limit Tables are labeled as "Micro BBJ TH" and are currently running at table limits of €0.05/€0.10 to €0.25/€0.50. Unlike the main Bad Beat Jackpot -- where players must lose with Quad Tens or higher -- players at a qualifying Micro Table Bad Beat Jackpot tables are only required to lose with Quad Twos to receive a prize.
Micro Bad Beat jackpots will start with a €1,000 prize pool and will be continuously fed with €0.02 jackpot drops from each raked hand. A player that hits a qualifying jackpot hand at one of these tables will receive a prize that payouts exactly like the regular jackpot tables: 35% of the progressive prize to the loser of the hand, 17.5% to the winner and 17.5% split between the rest of the table. 2012-01-20 Intertops Final $6,250 FPP Race Starts Sunday
On January 22nd, Intertops will run their final FPP race of the month, a $6,250 leaderboard paying the top 100 FPP earners with cash prizes up to $600. The exact time of the race runs from January 22nd through January 28th. Any players who place in the race will be paid on January 31st.
The FPP Race payments are paid in addition to 33% rakeback and a 110% up to $600 sign-up bonus available through rakeback 4ever. Players clearing a bonus with rakeback will be paid approximately 51%-60% in rakeback. Unlike other Cake Network sites, rakeback players at Intertops will be paid rakeback daily.
